If you have multiple Rodeo accounts, you can merge them by connecting wallets under specific conditions. This guide explains the process and important considerations before merging your accounts.
How to Merge Accounts
- Sign in to Your Primary Account Sign in to the Rodeo account you want to keep as your primary account
- Access Account Settings Navigate to the settings page by visiting rodeo.club/settings
- Connect Additional Wallet In the "Linked Wallets" section, click "Link a Wallet" and connect the wallet from your secondary Rodeo account
- Verify Connection Confirm that the wallet has been successfully linked to your primary account
What Happens When You Merge Accounts
When you connect a wallet from one Rodeo account to another, several changes occur:
Access Changes
- You will lose access to the secondary Rodeo account
- The wallet will be transferred to your primary account
- All future actions will need to be performed from your primary account
Collection Transfer
- Posts collected by the merged wallet will appear in your primary account's collection tab
- These posts will remain tied to the wallet that collected them
Gas Sponsorship Impact
- If your primary account was created with email-only login, you currently have gas sponsorship for creating posts
- Adding a wallet will remove this gas sponsorship benefit
- You will need to pay gas costs for future posts
Before You Merge
Take these important steps before proceeding with a merge:
- Transfer Assets Move any assets, posts, or crypto from your secondary account
- Review Collections Check both accounts' collected posts to understand what will transfer
- Consider Gas Costs If you have an email-only account, consider the impact of losing gas sponsorship

- When using an email/Rodeo wallet-only account, it must be your primary account (the one you're merging other accounts into)
Technical Limitations
- It is not technically possible to merge an email/Rodeo wallet-only account into an external wallet account
- It is not technically possible to merge two email/Rodeo wallet-only accounts together
