Are credits tokens on the blockchain?
Yes, credits are ERC1155 blockchain tokens that you can exchange to collect posts.
Do I need to buy credits to collect posts?
No, you don't necessarily need credits. If you have ETH in your Rodeo wallet, you can use that to collect posts. Credits are simply an alternative payment option for users who don't have a crypto wallet yet or prefer using credit/debit cards.
If I don't use all my credits, is it possible to get refunded?
If you don’t decide to use all of them, credits are refundable, though require assistance from our Support team. We strongly recommend purchasing only the number of credits you plan to use for collecting posts.
Do we keep your Credit Card information?
No. We use Crossmint which utilizes Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. All payment processing is handled securely through these trusted third-party providers.
How are the cost of credits calculated?
1 Credit = 0.0001 ETH. Each credit is set at this fixed price, making it simple and transparent for users to understand exactly what they're paying for each collection.
If I have both credits and ETH in my Rodeo Wallet, what is used to collect posts?
Rodeo uses credits first and then ETH in your Rodeo Wallet. This ensures you're using your prepaid credits before spending any cryptocurrency in your wallet.
When people collect my posts or when other collectors collect a post because of me, do I earn credits or ETH?
You earn creator earnings and collector rewards in ETH. These go directly into your Rodeo Wallet. Credits are only used for purchasing/collecting posts - all earnings and rewards are paid out in ETH.
Are credits purchasable with Apple Pay only?
Nope! You can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or manually input your credit card info into Rodeo. We don't keep your credit card information and work with trusted third party providers to facilitate the purchase of your credits.
