On Rodeo, all posts created on the app are ERC-1155 tokens created in your own smart contract. Users can mint your post and collect the tokens to display on their profile.
You also earn a fee for users minting your post, and they get an NFT to showcase. Follow these steps to create a post:
- Go to the Create button.
- Add an image asset.
- JPG, PNG, MOV, MP4: up to 300 MB file size limit.
- GIF up to 15 MB file size limit.
- Click Post, confirm the transaction in your wallet, and pay the required gas fee.
There are also a few additional optional settings that you can adjust on your post. They are as follows:
- Categories | You can add your post to categories such as Illustration, AI Art, Photography and more. These categories increase the visibility of your post and make them available to be viewed in the categories pages found in Search.
- Share to Farcaster | If you've connected your Farcaster account to your Rodeo account, you can cast a frame to any channel you are member of. These frames allow other Farcaster users to directly mint your post.
- Advanced Options / NSFW Tagging | If your post contains sensitive content, you should tag it as NSFW. Learn more about NSFW tagging requirements here.
Additionally please note the following about posts:
- Post titles are required and are limited to 40 characters
- Post captions are optional and are limited to 200 characters
